ABOUT THE PRODUCTION TEAM:

The Prosper Media Group, Inc. a provider of multimedia services to nonprofit agencies across the state of Kentucky including, Kentucky Child Now, Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky, University of Kentucky, National Kidney Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, MACED and the  American Heart Association is making plans to produce the documentary film about this “day without.” There are over 11,000 nonprofit agencies in KY alone!

The following information offers a look at the individuals primarily responsible for production including, Executive Producer, Production Coordinator, Field Producer).

KYLE LAKE, CEO/Executive Producer, Prosper Media Group, Inc.

Kentucky native and Executive Producer Kyle M. Lake, earned a B.A. in television and film production from The College of New Jersey and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky.  CEO of parent company, Prosper Media Group, Lake formed N.L.M.D.A. Pictures while producing the independent film pilot, Forever Yesterday© & the documentary, Fall Out: The Bluegrass Chemical Weapons Depot.  Lake also directs the syndicated television series, Biblion: Bible Mysteries Revealed. He has written 2 other feature length screenplays in addition to Forever Yesterday© (ForeverYesterdayfilm.com).  He formed Done In Sixty Seconds®, LLC a patent-pending technology to allow small businesses and nonprofits a method to develop personalized promotional video presentations.  Kyle serves as board chair of the Explorium Children’s Museum, and on the boards of Family Counseling Service and United Way’s Get On Board advisory council.

BRIAN GALBREATH, Production Coordinator, Prosper Media Group, Inc.

Brian Galbreath graduated from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 2006.  He has worked in many capacities for the PBS affiliate WSIU in Carbondale, IL, as a production assistant, studio camera operator, technical director, and master control operator.  Galbreath also had an extensive internship with Big Shoulders Digital Video Productions in Chicago, IL, where he served mainly as a production assistant helping with HGTV’s Designer's Challenge and Landscaper's Challenge, History Channel’s Big Build, and America’s Most Wanted.  Brian has served as a broadcast technician for the PBS affiliate WTVP in Peoria, IL.    He also produced, directed, and edited a documentary titled, WheresGeorge.com, on the subject of dollar bill tracking and the sub-culture surrounding the Where’s George? Website.  This documentary has had airtime on PBS.  Today Brian lives and works in Lexington, Kentucky, as a producer and editor for Prosper Media Group.

CHRIS THURMAN, Field Producer, Prosper Media Group, Inc.

Chris Thurman graduated from Full Sail in Orlando, FL. in 1997. After school, Chris worked as a production assistant, grip, writer, cameraman, and editor in Nashville, Tennessee, working on a variety of projects, ranging from CMT music videos, national commercials, feature films, and documentaries. Today Chris lives and works in Lexington, Kentucky for the Prosper Media Group. He is a producer, editor, cameraman, director, and production coordinator for Prosper Media Group. Recently Chris finished a short film and two 15-minute documentaries on the 1897 Thurman/Phillips Guest Home in Hardin County, Kentucky. He also completed a documentary for the Wayland, Kentucky Historical Society, which follows King Kelly Coleman, "Kentucky's Greatest High School Basketball Legend" in his pursuit to create a Mountain Sports Hall of Fame out of his old high school gym. Currently, Chris is in Post-Production on an environmental documentary that explores the storage and leakage of chemical weapons outside a small community in Southeastern Kentucky.
